Barcelona
The city of Barcelona it is a must to visit numerous monuments over there. The best sightseeing are mentioned in all touristic guides of Barcelona where the trace of Gaudí. Sagrada Famillia, La Casa Pedrera, La Casa Batllo, Museum Picasso, La Rambla, Monument a Colom, Aquarium, La Barceloneta, Park Guell, Camp Nou and many more interesting places.
Pals
The neighbour village of the original medieval architecture and monuments. Besides the historic centre you can enjoy the relax or all sorts of the sports activities on the beach and take refreshment in one of the local restaurants.
Faro de St. Sebastian
On the top of St. Sebastian is the lighthouse. This place provides excellent view to landscape with the beaches Llafranc or Calella or just the open sea. The nice restaurants, one of which is in Japanese style are locate here to get a good food and drink.
Botanic garden Cap Roig
The flowers of various sorts, incl. palm trees, cactuses and many other plants, that all located on the hill over the sea, gives unique panorama. The combination of the exotic plants and the extended open sea view assure the nice photos which you can take here. on top of it you can get information about the local and exotic plants and trees. In summer time the live concerts of worldwide famous interprets take place here, it is superb atmosphere.
Figueres
Just one name is needed to know when mentioning this city. Salvator Dalí. The museum of Dalí will open your phantasy and let you know more about this genius. You can take a rest under the trees on the promenade or refresh yourself in one of the restaurants on the square.
Montserrat
Thousand years old Benedictine monastery, built in the mountains.
Cadaques
All white! The fishermans village with the houses whitened by lime. Beautiful view from the lighthouse. The cathedral is a nice sight.
Girona
The main city of the region with the majestic cathedral on the top of the city. The river runs through the city and its banks are connected by the bridges. Some areas with the buildings and bridges at the river remind Florence, on the first sight. There is the international airport in Girona, where especially low-cost airliners travel. In summer time Girona is well visited by tourists.
Peratallada
The magic medieval village looks like the time is not running. The initial stoned historic houses, narrow stoned lanes, arcades will bring you to past centuries. You can see the former olive manufacture, little squares, you can take a lunch in romantic restaurant hidden in garden among the lemon and orange trees…. This place will impress you with its calmness.
L ´Estartit
This place is located under the massif Montgrí. Initially fisherman village, today popular by tourists because of extended beach and many water activities, like diving, snorchling or paddle boarding and other…. In a small port are the boats which can take you for the trips. Especially trip to rocky island Illes Medes. A plenty of different sorts of birds live here, even those which are not visible in inhabited places. As well, the sea water animals can be observed from the boat thanks the glass bottom. In summer time L´Estartit offer a lot of joy, events and night life.
Toroella de Montgrí
The small royal city, where the local markets take place every Monday. It is located under the hill Montgrí. From this city you can reach the top of the hill and enjoy the spectacular views of the landscape around.
Palamos
The port city with the cathedral and long extended beach bordered with the typicall Spanish promenade. In summer the beaches provide many sports activities and the refreshment in chiringuitos. Besides these, there are the restaurants open over all year, providing good dishes and nice sea view even during the winter time. On period of Carneval the special festival with excellent show. The coaches decorated everyone in different style with the dancers in costumes and load music offer perfect experience, fun and entertainment. The atmosphere of all city is spectacular.
Platja d´Aro
The touristic place with long extended beaches, well visited and crowded by tourists during the high summer season. Not only sports and fun activities on the beaches, but as well the shopping, restaurants, night bars, clubs and disco can be enjoyed here. The main street is lined with the shops of well-known and less-known brands and entertainment places.
